Easy Recipes With Lamb Mince

Lamb Mince Burgers
Ingredients:
500g of lean lamb mince
1 onion, finely chopped
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1 teaspoon of ground cumin
1 teaspoon of smoked paprika
2 tablespoons of tomato puree
1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
4 burger buns
Salad leaves, tomatoes and red onion to serve
Instructions:
In a large bowl, mix together the lamb mince, onion, garlic powder, cumin, smoked paprika, tomato puree, Worcestershire sauce and salt and pepper. Use your hands to combine the ingredients until everything is evenly distributed. Divide the mixture into four and shape into patties. Heat a non-stick frying pan over a medium heat and cook the patties for 6-8 minutes on each side, until cooked through. Toast the burger buns in a toaster or under the grill. To assemble the burgers, place a patty on the bottom bun and top with salad leaves, tomatoes and red onion. Place the top bun on top and enjoy!

Lamb Mince Curry
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 onion, finely chopped
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 teaspoon of ground cumin
1 teaspoon of ground coriander
1 teaspoon of garam masala
1 teaspoon of smoked paprika
400g of lean lamb mince
400g of tinned chopped tomatoes
2 tablespoons of tomato puree
200ml of chicken stock
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh coriander, to serve
Instructions:
Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan over a medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook for 5 minutes, until softened. Add the cumin, coriander, garam masala and smoked paprika and cook for a further 2 minutes. Add the lamb mince and cook, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes, until browned. Add the chopped tomatoes, tomato puree and chicken stock and bring to the boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes, until the sauce has thickened. Season to taste with salt and pepper and serve with freshly chopped coriander.
