Ingredients
This malt loaf is made with a few simple ingredients that you probably already have in your pantry. You will need: 250g (8.8 ounces) of plain flour, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, 50g (1.7 ounces) of malt extract, 50g (1.7 ounces) of soft brown sugar, 2 large eggs, 150ml (5.1 fluid ounces) of semi-skimmed milk, 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 170°C (325°F) and line a loaf tin with baking paper. In a large bowl, sift together the flour and baking powder. Add the malt extract, soft brown sugar, eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract and mix until all the ingredients are combined.
