Mix together until all the ingredients are combined. Step 6: Divide the pastry into 8 equal pieces and roll each piece into a circle on a floured surface. Place a spoonful of the meat and vegetable filling in the centre of each pastry circle. Step 7: Brush the edges of the pastry circles with a little beaten egg. Fold over the pastry and press the edges together to seal. Make a few small slits in the top of each pasty before placing on a baking tray. Step 8: Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until golden brown. Step 9: Serve the pasties warm or cold. Enjoy!
