Best Recipe For Chole Bhature

- Salt to taste
For the Bhature:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 tablespoons oil
- Salt to taste
- Water for kneading
- Oil for frying
Instructions
For the Chole:
1. In a pressure cooker, add the soaked chickpeas and enough water to cover them. Cook for 3-4 whistles.
2. Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and let them crackle.
3. Add the chopped onions and cook till they turn golden brown.
4. Add the chopped tomatoes and green chillies. Cook till the tomatoes are soft.
5. Add all the spices and cook for a few minutes.
6. Add the cooked chickpeas and mix well. Cook for 5 minutes.
7. Add the chopped coriander leaves and mix.
8. Serve hot with Bhature.
For the Bhature:
1. In a bowl, add the all-purpose flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, salt and oil.
2. Mix everything together and knead it into a soft dough.
3. Divide the dough into small equal sized balls.
4. Take one ball and roll it out into a thin round disc.
5. Heat oil in a deep frying pan and fry the disc till it is golden brown.
6. Remove from the oil and drain the excess oil.
7. Serve hot with Chole.
