Turkey Mince And Potato Recipes

Ingredients

Turkey mince and potato recipes are a great way to create a delicious meal that all the family can enjoy. You will need the following ingredients: 500g of lean turkey mince, 2 large potatoes, 1 large onion, 2 cloves of garlic, 2 teaspoons of tomato purée, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of dried oregano, 1 teaspoon of dried thyme, 1 teaspoon of paprika, 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar, 1 tablespoon of honey, salt and black pepper to taste.

Instructions

To begin, peel and chop the potatoes into small cubes and put them into a large pan of boiling water. Simmer for 10 minutes until they are tender. Meanwhile, heat the olive oil in a separate large frying pan and add the turkey mince. Fry the mince until it is browned, stirring regularly. Next, add the chopped onion and garlic to the mince and fry for a further few minutes until the onion is softened. Add the tomato purée, oregano, thyme, paprika, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, honey and some salt and pepper to the mince mixture and stir. Allow the mixture to cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

When the potatoes are cooked, drain them and add them to the mince mixture. Stir everything together and allow to cook for a further 10 minutes. Serve the mince and potato dish with some green vegetables and a side salad. Enjoy!
