Ingredients

  • 6 boiled eggs, peeled
  • 3 cups of basmati rice

  • 2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice

Instructions

To begin, heat the ghee in a large pan or pot over medium heat. Once the ghee is hot, add the chopped onions and sauté until they are golden brown. Then, add the ginger-garlic paste, green chillies, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, and salt. Sauté the spices for a few minutes until they are fragrant. Now, add the boiled eggs and sauté for about 2 minutes. Then, add the basmati rice and stir to combine all the ingredients.

Once the ingredients are mixed, add 3 cups of hot water and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan with a lid, and let the biryani simmer for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, remove the lid and fluff the rice with a fork. Finally, add the freshly chopped coriander leaves and lemon juice and stir to combine.
