Ingredients



For this dish, you will need:

- 500 grams of paneer, cut into cubes.
- 2 large onions, finely chopped.

- 1 inch piece of ginger, finely chopped.
- 1 teaspoon of cumin powder.
- 1 teaspoon of coriander powder.
- 1 teaspoon of garam masala.
- 1 teaspoon of red chilli powder.
- 2 tablespoons of tomato paste.
- 2 tablespoons of butter.
- 2 tablespoons of cream.
- 2 tablespoons of kasuri methi.
- 2 tablespoons of fresh coriander, finely chopped.
- Salt, to taste.
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable or canola oil.

Instructions



1. Heat the oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
2. Add the onions and sauté until they are golden brown and softened.
3. Add the garlic and ginger and sauté for a minute.
4. Add the tomatoes and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring often.
5. Add the cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and red chilli powder and cook for a few seconds.
6. Add the tomato paste and mix well.
7. Add the butter and cream and mix until well combined.
8. Add the kasuri methi and stir for a few seconds.
9. Add the paneer cubes and mix gently.
10. Simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
11. Add the fresh coriander and salt, to taste.
12. Turn off the heat and transfer the Bombay Chef Paneer Butter Masala to a serving dish.

Serving Suggestions



Bombay Chef Paneer Butter Masala is best served hot with naan, roti, or steamed basmati rice. It can also be served with pulao, jeera rice, or paratha. This dish can also be served as a side dish with chappatis or puris.
