Instructions

Step 1

Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add the onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add the garlic, ginger, garam masala, coriander, turmeric, and cayenne pepper, and cook until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
