Ingredients:

- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 green onions, sliced
Instructions:
1. Begin by cutting the chicken into 1-inch cubes and set aside.
2. In a shallow bowl, beat together the eggs and 2 tablespoons of cornstarch until combined. Dip the chicken cubes in the egg mixture and set aside.
3. Heat the canola oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken cubes and cook until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
4. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, brown sugar, red pepper flakes, and hoisin sauce. Pour the mixture over the chicken and cook for another 5 minutes.
5. In a small bowl, whisk together the water and 2 tablespoons of cornstarch until combined. Slowly add the cornstarch mixture to the skillet and stir until the sauce thickens, about 3 minutes.
