Ingredients

  • Gradually add water and knead the dough until it is soft and pliable.
  • Cover the dough with a damp cloth and set aside for 10 minutes.
  • Mix the boiled and mashed potatoes, coriander leaves, cumin seeds, garam masala, and red chilli powder together.
  • Divide the dough into 8 equal parts and roll each part into a ball.
  • Roll out each ball into a circle and place one portion of the potato mixture in the center of the circle.
  • Fold the sides of the dough over the potato mixture and seal the edges.
  • Roll the sealed dough into a circle.
  • Heat a tawa over medium heat and cook the paratha for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Brush the paratha with oil and cook for another minute.
  • Serve hot with raita or chutney.
