Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 12-cup muffin tin.
2. In a heat-proof bowl, add the butter and semi-sweet chocolate chips. Heat in the microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until the chips are melted and the mixture is smooth.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until combined.
4. Add the melted chocolate mixture to the egg mixture and mix until combined.
5. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
6. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined. Don’t overmix.
