Crispy Chilli Beef Stir Fry
Ingredients
This stir fry will feed four people and is packed with flavour. You will need:
- 200g beef strips
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 1 red onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red pepper, sliced
- 1 teaspoon of ginger, minced
- 1 teaspoon of chilli flakes
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of white wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoons of fresh coriander, chopped
- 1 packet of instant noodles
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
The great thing about stir fry is that it is quick and easy to make. To begin, add the vegetable oil to a large frying pan or wok over medium-high heat. When the oil is hot, add the beef strips and fry for two minutes, until lightly browned.
Next, add the red onion, garlic, red pepper, ginger, chilli flakes, soy sauce, white wine vinegar, sugar, cornstarch and sesame oil. Continue to fry for a further few minutes until the vegetables are tender and the beef is cooked through.
Finally, add the sesame seeds, fresh coriander, instant noodles and salt and pepper to taste. Toss everything together and cook for a further two minutes. Serve the stir fry hot with steamed rice or noodles.
