Ingredients

This delicious Coffee and Walnut Bundt Cake features a moist and flavorful cake base, topped with a creamy coffee icing and garnished with crunchy walnuts. To make this cake, you will need the following ingredients:

  • 2¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter, softened

  • 1 cup coffee, cooled

Instructions

To make the cake, preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 10-inch Bundt pan. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In the bowl of a stand mixer, beat together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in the vanilla extract. Add the flour mixture in three additions, alternating with the coffee, and beat until just combined. Fold in the chopped walnuts. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.

To make the icing, in a medium bowl, whisk together the confectioners' sugar, butter, coffee, and vanilla extract until smooth. Spread the icing over the cooled cake, then garnish with the chopped walnuts. Serve and enjoy!
