Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup Basmati Rice
- 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon of coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of red chilli powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder
- 1 tablespoon of ginger-garlic paste
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 green chillies, chopped
- 1 teaspoon of garam masala
- 1/4 cup of yoghurt
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- Salt, to taste
- 1/4 cup of coriander leaves, chopped
Instructions
1. Boil the eggs in a large pot of water for 10 minutes. Once done, remove the eggs and peel the shells off. Set aside.
2. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and add the cumin seeds. Once they start to splutter, add the chopped onions and fry until golden brown.
3. Add the ginger-garlic paste and fry for another minute. Now, add the coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and garam masala, and fry for a few seconds.
4. Add the chopped green chillies and yoghurt. Fry for 2 minutes and then add the boiled eggs, rice and salt. Mix everything together and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
5. Once the rice is cooked, turn the heat off and add the chopped coriander leaves. Stir everything together and transfer to a serving bowl. Serve hot and enjoy!
