Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon of Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 teaspoon of Coriander Powder
  • 1 teaspoon of Garam Masala Powder
  • 2 tablespoons of Butter
  • 1 teaspoon of Kasuri Methi (dried fenugreek leaves)
  • 2 tablespoons of Cream
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

Making paneer butter masala in Telugu is an extremely easy process. The first step is to heat some butter in a pan on medium flame. Once the butter has melted, add the chopped onions and sauté them until they turn golden brown. Next, add the ginger-garlic paste and sauté for another minute.

Now add the chopped tomatoes and cook them until they become soft and mushy. Once the tomatoes are cooked, add the turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and garam masala powder. Mix all the spices together and cook for 2-3 minutes. Now add the cubed paneer and mix it with the masala.

Add a cup of water and let the mixture simmer for 10-15 minutes. Once the gravy has thickened, add the kasuri methi and mix it well. Now add the cream and mix it with the gravy. Add salt as per taste. Let the gravy simmer for another 5 minutes. Your delicious paneer butter masala is now ready to eat.
