Ingredients
For the cake:
- 6 eggs
- 225g (8oz) caster sugar
- 225g (8oz) self-raising flour
- 2 level teaspoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons finely grated lemon zest

Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C, Gas Mark 4. Grease and line a 20cm (8 inch) round cake tin.
