Nutrela Soya Chunks Curry Recipe

Ingredients

To make this delicious Nutrela Soya Chunks Curry Recipe, you will require the following ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 2 green chillies, slit lengthwise
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 teaspoon garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon ginger paste
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 1 cup tomato puree
  • 1 teaspoon chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 cups Nutrela Soya Chunks, soaked in warm water for 15 minutes and drained
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • 4 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

To make this Nutrela Soya Chunks Curry, follow the steps below:

  1. Heat the oil in a deep non-stick pan and add the cumin seeds.
  2. When the seeds crackle, add the green chillies and bay leaves and sauté on a medium flame for a few seconds.
  3. Add the garlic and ginger paste and sauté on a medium flame for a few seconds.
  4. Add the onions and sauté on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes or till they turn golden brown in colour.
  5. Add the tomato puree, chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, sugar, water and salt, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
  6. Add the soya chunks and mix gently.
  7. Cover with a lid and cook on a slow flame for 10 minutes or till the soya chunks are cooked.
  8. Add the lime juice and coriander leaves, mix well and cook on a slow flame for 1 minute.
  9. Serve hot.
