Blend until the ingredients are well combined and you have a smooth paste. Transfer the paste to a bowl and stir in the yogurt until the mixture is thick and creamy.

Once the chutney is ready, it can be served as an accompaniment to the Dahi Vada. To make the vada, start by soaking the lentils in water for 2-3 hours. Drain and grind the lentils into a fine paste. Make small balls of the paste and deep fry in hot oil until they are golden brown. Drain on paper towels and set aside.
