Beef Kofta Kebabs with Tzatziki Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh mint
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup diced cucumber
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the ground beef, parsley, mint, garlic, cumin, coriander, salt, pepper, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix until everything is evenly combined.
- Form the mixture into 12 small patties and set aside.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the patties and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 4 minutes per side.
- In a small bowl, combine the yogurt, cucumber, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and pepper. Stir until everything is evenly combined.
- Serve the koftas with the tzatziki sauce.
