- 2 tomatoes, pureed
- 2 tablespoons fresh cream
- Salt to taste
Instructions
1. To make the koftas, combine the mashed potatoes, paneer, besan, cornflour, nuts, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, and salt in a bowl. Mix well and shape into small balls.
2. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the koftas until golden brown. Drain on a plate lined with paper towels.
3. To make the gravy, heat oil in a pan and add the cumin seeds. Once they start to splutter, add the ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a few seconds.
4. Add the chopped onion and sauté until it turns golden brown. Add the red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, and salt. Stir-fry for a few minutes.
5. Add the tomato puree and cook until the oil starts to separate from the sides. Add the cream and mix well. Simmer for 5 minutes.
6. Add the fried koftas and mix gently. Simmer for another 5 minutes and serve hot.
