Instructions

For the Chana Masala:


1. Heat oil in a pan and add the cumin seeds.
2. Add the chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.
3. Add the ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a few minutes.
4. Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they are soft.
5. Add the coriander powder, turmeric powder, and salt and mix well.
6. Add the boiled chickpeas and mix well.
7. Add the chopped green chilies and coriander leaves and cook for a few minutes.
8. Remove from heat and set aside.

For the Bhature:


1. In a large bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, ghee, baking powder, sugar, baking soda, and a pinch of salt.
2. Add the curd and mix until it forms a soft dough.
3. Cover the dough and set aside for 15 minutes.
4. Divide the dough into small balls.
5. Heat oil in a deep pan and deep-fry the dough balls until golden brown.
6. Remove from heat and set aside.

Serving


1. To serve, place the bhature on a plate and top with the chana masala.
2. Serve hot with pickles, onions, and chutney.
