The dough is kneaded and rolled into thin discs and then filled with the paneer stuffing. The discs are then fried in a shallow or deep-fat fryer until golden-brown.

Instructions

To make paneer paratha, start by making the dough. In a large bowl, mix together wheat flour, a pinch of salt, and enough water to make a soft, pliable dough. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes and then keep it aside for about 15 minutes. Now make the stuffing for the paratha. In a large bowl mix together paneer, ginger, garlic, chilli powder, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix these ingredients together until combined. Divide the dough into equal portions and roll each portion into a thin disc.

Now place one disc on a lightly floured work surface and spoon the paneer stuffing in the centre. Now fold the sides of the disc together and press the edges to seal the stuffing. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and let it heat for a few minutes. Now place the paratha on the hot pan and let it cook for a few minutes. Flip the paratha and let the other side cook until golden-brown. Serve the paratha hot with a dollop of butter or ghee.
