- 2 tablespoons finely chopped coriander leaves
- 2-3 dry red chillies
- A pinch of asafoetida
Instructions
To make the batter, take a bowl and add the semolina, rice flour, ginger-green chilli paste, turmeric powder, salt, cumin seeds, coriander leaves, baking soda and ghee. Mix all the ingredients well. Now add the water and whisk the batter until it is smooth. Keep it aside for 10-15 minutes.
Now heat a non-stick tawa on medium flame. Pour a ladleful of the batter in the centre of the tawa and spread it in a circular motion to make a thin and even layer. Drizzle a teaspoon of ghee around the edges of the dosa. Cover the tawa with a lid and cook the dosa for 2 minutes or until the edges become golden brown and crisp. Flip the dosa and cook it on the other side for 1 minute.
