Instructions
Start by rinsing the split pigeon peas and then soaking them in water for at least an hour. This will make them easier to cook.
In a medium pot, heat the ghee over medium-high heat. Add in the cumin seeds and let them sizzle for about a minute. Next, add in the garlic, onion, ginger, and chili powder. Saute for about 5 minutes until the onion is softened and lightly browned.
