Instructions


1. Heat the ghee or clarified butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds and fry until they start to sizzle.
2. Add the chicken pieces to the pan and fry until they are lightly browned.
3. Add the red chilli powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cilantro, ginger, garlic, mint leaves, and salt to the pan. Fry for a few minutes until the spices are fragrant.
4. Add the yogurt, lemon juice, and water to the pan. Stir to combine.
5. Add the Jeera Samba Rice to the pan and stir to combine.
6. Bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and cover the pan. Simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and the liquid has been absorbed.
7. Remove the pan from the heat and let the biryani sit for 10 minutes.
