Cheesecake Filled Easter Egg Recipe
Ingredients
This recipe makes 12 filled Easter eggs. You will need the following ingredients:
- 2 cups of graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup of melted butter

- 2 8-ounce packages of cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 2 eggs

Instructions
To make the crust, preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Mix until combined. Press the crust into the bottom of each hollowed-out Easter egg. Bake for 8 minutes. Set aside to cool.
To make the cheesecake filling, in a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and 1/2 cup of sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs, one at a time. Add the lemon juice, vanilla extract, and almond extract. Mix until combined. Spoon the filling into each Easter egg.
Bake the filled eggs for 25 minutes. Let cool completely before removing from the shells.
