Delicious Chicken and Mushroom Pie with Mashed Potato Topping

Ingredients

For the pie filling:

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 300 grams of chicken breasts, diced into bite sized pieces
  • 200 grams of mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons milk

Instructions

Making the Pie Filling

Start by heating the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook, stirring occasionally, until the onion is soft and translucent, about 5 minutes. Add the chicken and cook until it is no longer pink, about 4-5 minutes. Add the mushrooms and cook until they are soft, about 3 minutes.
