Instructions to Make Paneer Butter Masala
1. Heat butter in a pan over medium heat. Once the butter is hot, add cumin seeds and allow them to sizzle.
2. Add the chopped onions and fry until they are golden brown.
3. Add ginger-garlic paste and fry for a few seconds.
4. Now add the chopped tomatoes and fry until they are soft and mushy.
5. Add the red chili powder, garam masala powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder. Stir and fry for a few more minutes.
6. Add about 1/4 cup of water and let the masala simmer for 5-7 minutes.
7. Add the cubed paneer and mix it gently with the masala. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
8. Add cream and mix it gently with the masala. Let it simmer for a few more minutes.
9. Finally, garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or paratha.
