Ingredients

Instructions
To begin, wash and peel the potatoes and then boil them in a pot of water. Once they are cooked, mash them and set aside. In a bowl, combine the grated paneer and mashed potatoes and mix well. Add salt to taste and then shape the mixture into small balls. Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the koftas until they are golden brown. Remove the koftas from the pan and set aside.
In the same pan, add the bay leaves, cumin seeds and garam masala and fry for a few seconds. Then, add the ginger-garlic paste and fry for another few seconds. Now, add the chopped onions and fry until they are golden brown. Add the pureed tomatoes, chilli powder and turmeric powder and cook for 5 minutes.
Add the cream and a cup of water and bring the mixture to a boil. Add the koftas and cook for 5 minutes. Finally, add the chopped coriander leaves, cashew nuts and raisins and mix well. Simmer for 2 minutes and then turn off the heat. Serve hot with naan or roti.
