Instructions



1. Wash the mustard greens thoroughly and chop them into small pieces.
2. Heat the ghee in a heavy-bottom pan and add the cumin seeds. When the cumin seeds begin to crackle, add the garlic and ginger. Fry for a few minutes until the garlic is golden brown.
3. Add the chopped mustard greens and green chillies to the pan and mix well. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes until the mustard greens are soft.
4. Now add the coriander powder and salt to taste. Mix well and cook for another 5 minutes.
5. Remove from heat and add the lemon juice. Stir well and serve the Sarson Ka Saag hot with makki ki roti or steamed rice.
