Air Fryer Arancini Balls Recipe

Cooking arancini balls in an air fryer is a great way to enjoy the delicious Italian snack without having to deep fry them. This recipe uses a combination of risotto and cheese to create a tasty snack that everyone in the family will love. Plus, you can make them in advance and freeze them for a quick snack when you need something tasty in a hurry.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup risotto
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup olive oil

Instructions

In a large bowl, combine the risotto, Parmesan, mozzarella, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together until it is well combined. Form the mixture into small balls, about the size of a golf ball, and set aside.

In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, eggs, and breadcrumbs. Dip each ball in the egg mixture and coat it completely with the crumbs. Place the balls on a plate or baking sheet.

Preheat the air fryer to 400°F. Place the balls in the air fryer basket and evenly spray them with the olive oil. Cook the arancini balls for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

Transfer the arancini balls to a plate and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.
