  • Heat the oil in a deep pan for deep-frying.
  • Shape the lentil paste into small balls and drop into the hot oil.
  • Fry the dumplings until golden brown and remove from the oil.
  • Drain the oil and set aside.
To make the yogurt sauce:
  • Whisk together the yogurt, cumin powder, ginger powder, red chili powder, garam masala, salt, and black pepper powder in a bowl.
