  • 2 tablespoons water

Instructions

Start by combining the semolina, rice flour, cumin seeds, ginger, green chilli, coriander, onion, turmeric powder, asafoetida and salt in a bowl. Mix everything together until it is well combined. Now add the oil and water and mix until the batter is smooth and lump free.

Heat a non-stick pan on medium heat. Once the pan is hot, pour a ladle full of the batter in the center of the pan and spread it with the back of the ladle, in a circular motion. Once the dosa is lightly golden, flip it over and cook for 1-2 minutes. Remove the dosa from the pan and serve hot with chutney or sambar of your choice.
