Ingredients
For marinating the paneer:
• 2 cups paneer, cut into cubes

• 1 teaspoon red chilli powder

For the gravy:
• 2 tablespoons oil
• 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
• 2 large onions, finely chopped
• 4 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
• 2 teaspoons coriander powder
• 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
• 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
• 1 cup tomato puree
• 2 tablespoons cream
• 2 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves
• Salt, to taste
Instructions
1. Start by marinating the paneer cubes. In a large bowl, mix together the ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, oil, and salt. Add the paneer cubes, and mix until the cubes are evenly coated. Set aside for 15-20 minutes.
2. Heat a grill pan over medium heat. Add the marinated paneer cubes to the pan and cook for about 5 minutes, flipping them occasionally, until all sides are lightly charred and the cubes are cooked through. Set aside.
3. Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds. Add the chopped onions and minced garlic, and cook until the onions are translucent and soft.
4. Add the red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, and turmeric powder. Stir to combine and cook for a few minutes until the spices are fragrant.
5. Add the tomato puree and stir to combine. Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes until the mixture has thickened.
6. Add the cooked paneer cubes and cream. Stir to combine and simmer for 3-4 minutes.
7. Add the chopped coriander leaves and stir to combine. Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed.
