Ingredients:
This delicious Dahi Vada recipe requires the following ingredients:
- 1 cup moong dal (split yellow mung beans)
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon ginger paste
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon green chili paste

- 1 teaspoon garam masala

- 2 cups curd

- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 dry red chilies
- 2 tablespoons roasted peanuts
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 2 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves
- 1 teaspoon chaat masala
- 4 tablespoons tamarind chutney
- 2 tablespoons green chutney
Instructions:
Follow these simple steps to make this tasty Dahi Vada recipe:
- Soak the moong dal in water for at least 2 hours.
- Drain the water and grind the moong dal into a coarse paste.
- Add the cumin seeds, ginger paste, salt, vegetable oil, green chili paste, coriander powder, garam masala, amchur powder, and fresh coriander leaves to the paste.
- Mix the ingredients together and knead the mixture into a dough.
- Take a portion of the dough and shape it into a round vada.
