Authentic Mumbai Vada Pav Recipe

• 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder

• 2 tablespoons of tamarind chutney
• 2 tablespoons of green chutney
Instructions:
1. Begin by mashing the boiled potatoes in a bowl.
2. To the mashed potatoes, add the green chillies, coriander leaves, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, gram flour, turmeric powder, asafoetida powder, and salt. Mix all of the ingredients together until they are well combined.
3. Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, take a small portion of the mixture and shape it into a flat patty.
4. Place the patty in the pan and cook it for a few minutes until it turns golden brown. Flip it over and cook the other side for a few more minutes. Remove the vada from the pan and keep it aside.
5. Take the buns and split them in half. Apply the tamarind chutney and green chutney on the inside of the buns.
6. Place the prepared vada in the bun and serve hot.
