Instructions

Step 1: Preparing the Eggs



To begin, you’ll need to hard-boil the eggs. Place the eggs in a pot filled with cold water and bring to a boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat to medium and simmer for 8-10 minutes. Once boiled, drain the water and let the eggs cool. Once cooled, carefully peel the eggs and set aside.

Step 2: Preparing the Batter



In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Then slowly add the milk and whisk together until a thick batter forms.

Step 3: Coating the Eggs



Take one of the peeled eggs and dip it in the batter, coating it completely. Then roll the egg in the breadcrumbs, making sure to coat the egg evenly. Place the breaded egg on a plate and repeat the process with the 5 remaining eggs.

Step 4: Frying the Eggs



Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or a large pot over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully lower each egg into the oil and fry for 5-6 minutes, or until the eggs are golden brown. Once done, carefully remove the eggs from the oil and place on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil.
