Ingredients



• 2 tablespoons oil
• 2 cloves garlic, minced

• 2 green chillies, chopped
• 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

• 2 tablespoons jaggery (or brown sugar)

Instructions



1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger and sauté for a minute.
2. Add chopped onion and sauté until it turns golden brown.
3. Add green chillies, turmeric powder, coriander powder and sauté for a minute.
4. Add tamarind paste and jaggery (or brown sugar) and mix well.
5. Add salt and freshly chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
6. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until the chutney turns thick.
7. Serve the chutney as an accompaniment with Vada Pav.
