Easy Bibimbap with Gochujang Sauce

Ingredients

Making bibimbap is easy with the right ingredients. You will need:
2 cups of cooked jasmine rice, 2 tablespoons of sesame oil, 1 bell pepper, 1 onion, 1 cup of mushrooms, 1 cup of cooked spinach, 1 carrot, 1 cup of cooked beef, 4 eggs, 1/4 cup of gochujang sauce, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic, 1 teaspoon of sesame seeds and 1 tablespoon of toasted sesame oil.

Instructions

First, prepare the vegetables by slicing the bell pepper, onion, mushrooms, carrot, and spinach. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the sesame oil. Add the bell pepper, onion, mushrooms, carrot, and spinach to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove the vegetables from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, cook the beef for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.

In a bowl, whisk the eggs together and pour into the skillet. Cook the eggs for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove the eggs from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add the cooked rice, cooked vegetables, cooked beef, garlic, and gochujang sauce. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Once everything is heated through, remove the skillet from the heat.

To assemble, divide the bibimbap between four bowls. Top each bowl with the cooked eggs, sesame seeds, and toasted sesame oil. Serve with extra gochujang sauce, if desired.
