Ingredients


• 1 cup of yogurt (curd)
• 1/2 teaspoon of cumin seeds
• 1-2 green chillies, chopped
• 1 teaspoon of ginger, grated
• 1/2 teaspoon of sugar or to taste
• Salt to taste
• 1 tablespoon of oil
• 1/2 teaspoon of mustard seeds
• 1/4 teaspoon of asafoetida (hing)
• 2-3 curry leaves
• 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder
• 1/2 teaspoon of red chilli powder

Instructions


1. Heat the oil in a pan and add the cumin seeds. When the cumin seeds start to crackle, add the mustard seeds, asafoetida, and curry leaves. Saute for a few seconds.
2. Now add the green chillies and ginger and saute for a few seconds.
3. Add the turmeric powder and red chilli powder and mix well.
4. Add the yogurt and mix well.
5. Add the sugar, salt and mix well.
6. Cook the chutney on a low flame for 2-3 minutes or until the chutney thickens.
7. Serve the chutney with Sabudana Vada and enjoy.
