  • 3 medium potatoes

Instructions:


Begin by boiling the potatoes in a pot of water until they are cooked through. Once cooked, remove them from the water and let them cool. Once cooled, peel the potatoes and mash them in a bowl. Add the coriander leaves, cumin seeds, chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, chaat masala, lemon juice and salt to the mashed potatoes. Mix all the ingredients together until they are well combined.


Now start forming the vada. Take a portion of the potato mixture and shape it into a round patty. Heat oil in a pan and once hot, start adding the vada one by one. Fry the vadas until they turn golden brown in colour. Once done, remove them from the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels. Serve the hot vadas with chutney or ketchup.
