Ingredients:
- 200 gm paneer
- 3 tomatoes
- 2 onions
- 2 tablespoons ginger garlic paste
- 2 tablespoons tomato puree
- 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1 teaspoon of kasoori methi
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons of cream
- Chopped coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions:
Begin by cutting the paneer into cubes and set aside. Heat a pan with 1 tablespoon of butter and add the onion and sauté until it turns golden brown. Then add the ginger garlic paste and sauté for a minute. Add the tomatoes and cook until softened. Add the tomato puree and cook for 2 minutes. Now add all the spice powders, garam masala, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder. Cook for a few minutes until the spices are cooked through. Now add the sugar and salt to taste. Add 1 cup of water and simmer the gravy for 5 minutes.
Now add the paneer cubes and kasoori methi and simmer for 5 minutes. Add 1 tablespoon of butter and the cream. Mix everything together and cook for 3 minutes. Finally, add the chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
