Ingredients
- 1/2 kilo chicken liver, sliced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 cup carrots, sliced
- 1 cup bell peppers, chopped
- 1 cup snow peas
- 1/2 cup celery, sliced
- 1/2 cup chicken stock
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
In a large pan over medium heat, heat the oil and sauté the garlic and onions. Add the chicken liver and cook until lightly browned. Add the carrots, bell peppers, and celery. Cook for 3 minutes or until the vegetables are slightly softened. Pour in the chicken stock, oyster sauce, soy sauce, and sugar. Stir to combine.
Bring the mixture to a simmer. In a small bowl, mix together the cornstarch and 1/4 cup of cold water. Slowly pour the cornstarch mixture into the pan while stirring. Simmer until the sauce thickens. Add the snow peas and cook for a few minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
Turn off the heat and season with salt and pepper. Serve with steamed white rice.
